dizzy spell after brain surgery

i am working for an elderly man who is recovering from some sort of brain surgery and today he just went blank in the face and fell over. i went to talk to him about 30 minutes after i helped him in his house and he sais he is fine but i'm worried that it is some indication of some sort of post opp. altercation that he needs to see a doctor about.
