catarac surgery

I had catarac surgery last february,and everything turned out fine; however last week I developed a shadow on the right side of the eye like a cobweb. My doctor said that could happen and I have to live with it. I know I sighned a statement that the doctor was not responsible for any problems that could happen, but I was never told this was a common thing. In fact another person who had surgery a month after I had was in the office for exactly the same problem. Do you know if there is a cure for these happenings or do I have to live with it and is it going to get worse.

It very well may be that he did not let the cataracts age as needed before the surgery. It also may be due to a small amount of them left on your eye. I would either consult back with him for further removal or see another Ophthalmologist for another opinion.
