I had bladder repair surgery 2 weeks ago. When will I be able to resume my normal activities including sex?

You'll want to wait at least another 4 weeks to resume sex. Also, you'll have a restriction on your lifting of 10 pounds for now, but probably never over 20 pounds. Didn't they give you a discharge instruction sheet?

They did when I left the hospital, but it does not say anything about when to resume sex. I do go back to my Dr. in 2 weeks and I am sure that he will able to answer my questions then. I just did not know that particular question. Thank you very much.
