Question

my friend has had a past with endometriosis and had surgery ...

Sent to Health Experts September 26, 2006 1:40 p.m.

my friend has had a past with endometriosis and had surgery done for it a few years ago. she also takes the depo shot. she's been on the shot for about 4 years. one week ago, she started having bad lower back pains and pain in her lower stomach when she went to the restroom. she has been to the doctor and there is no kidney, or urinary infection. her white blood cell count is normal. she did however have some blood in her urine when they took a sample. it doesn't burn when she uses the restroom, but hurts inside. she has also been running a low grade fever and having nausea. she's confused at what may be causing these symptoms since there has been no infection found so far. she's been told by family that she's possibly pregnant, but is that possible with her past condition and her being on the depo shot. or is it possible the endometriosis is acting up. please help with any information if possible. she's confused and scared, and i'm worried. thanks for listening.
