My husband has a itch feeling in his urethra, no pain when urinating or itching or burbing either. Every once in awhile he has a shooting pain in it. We stopped having sex and it was feeling better, but we recently did and now it is hurting again. What do yoiu think? I also have a uterus that is falling out and are suppose to have surgery becuase it is MUCH worse now?Do you think it could be part of the problem, that he is hitting it MORE?

Dear Customer (name blocked for privacy),

I think it is important to have this evaluated by his physician to rule out an STD or urinary tract infection. A urine test and possibly a swab test of the penis will be needed to get a diagnosis. No, I doubt that your prolapsed uterus is causing his symptoms, however I urge you to have the recommended surgery to avoid future problems during your child-bearing years.
