My mom was just released from Beth Isreal Hospital NY and she is currently recupping from a surgery that removed cancerous lymph nodes from her paratoid glands. The tumor was attached to her ear and chin. She is recovering well, but now we are facing radiation as well as possible kemo. What type of life expectancy does she has. She is 70 and was in great health prior to this surgery. I believe the doctor called it a malignant neoplasm. Please advise.
