I was diagnosed with a lesion at left lateral eye and need surgery, how do they do the surgery?

Reply to PaulaNP's Post: I am not sure where its going to be, but the "lesion" is in the left eye, and about the size of a pea....I have a phobia about anyone touching my eyes, people have to hold me down literally to get eye drops in when I had pink eye, I dont think I am going to handle the surgery without totally freaking out. I dont know how long I had this "lesion" but all I know is it grew very fast, within a week is when my eye got blurry, and sore, then at the end of the week I noticed something in the corner of the eye sticking out, so I went to the doctor and he stated that it is a: "lesion at left lateral eye" and needs to be sergically removed....
