Reply to Pauline's Post: The patient is my mom. She is 60 years old, is obese, and takes medicine for high blood pressure. She is having knee replacement surgery. She had pre-op blood work done on Thursday. Friday the orthopedic doctor called and told her there were abnormalities and to contact her doctor. She can't get in until Monday to see him. So, I just wanted an idea of what the pre-op tests looked for to have an idea of what possibly could be abnormal.
Thank you!!
