My husband was in a MVA in March 2006 involving a fire truck tumbling down a ravine. He was ejected out the top of the truck after the roof popped off and down approx. 45 feet through the air before landing below. He suffered from C-3, C-4 and C-5 fractures, punctured lung, a number of broken ribs, torn meniscus in left knee and torn rotator cuff in left shoulder. He worn a Aspen collar for 6 months allowing time for his neck to heal. Meanwhile, because he could not be inabated due to his neck injury, surgery was not possible on his knee and shoulder for 6 months. The breaks in his neck show to be healed, but now he suffers from getting "catches" in his neck. MRI and CAT scan results show all to be fine. Shoulder surgery consisted of indepth repair and an anchor being put into place and the onset of arthritus being cut away. Knee surgery also consisted of indepth repair, with the shredded meniscus being cut and holes punched on the inside to hopefully form scar tissue.

He has been on pain medication since the accident and is now in a great deal of pain with his knee and alot of pain with his neck and shoulder. What would your advise be to try next and/or from this point on? We are very happy with our doctors, we just thought another opionion might be helpful.
