Hi all,
So we all have heard the surgery is not used for PHN. I need to be told why. Is it because it's the drug companies that call the shots and there's more money in not stopping the pain through surgery? We can't not be too shocked if that is so. It's common knowledge that it's the drug companies that write the laws and that's the best we can do.
For me it's very obvious that it's the nerve that it's coming out of my left eye socket and runs up my forehead that is giving me the pain. Over the 4 years this nerve is getting much larger and harder to the touch. So it seems to be going in the wrong direction if I'm waiting for it to heal. It can feel good to rub it. I can easily rub my forehead in till it bleeds. What is this nerve good for in addition to pain? I'm thinking if a small chunk was removed under the eyebrow the pain would be gone. Are there other countries that do it? I'm not far from Canada. Anyone need anything while I'm there?
No joking if you have any info please reply. Thanks, Tim
