Question

I have been experiencing a variety of abnormal symptoms ...

Sent to Health Experts January 15, 2006 10:58 a.m.

I have been experiencing a variety of abnormal symptoms that started with a moderate occasional pain in my testicles. For the last four-five days I have began to experience occasional pain in my ribs, and pain up and down my back. I have been experiencing some very moderate night sweats (mainly as I try to fall asleep). The pain seems to subside at night once I actually get to sleep. I have experienced other moderate symptoms include weakness and loss of appetite. I have also been congested or hoarse throughout this whole thing. I am a 24 year old male with no past problems, what is wrong with me?

Optional Information:
Male , Age: 24

Already Tried:
I have been to my primary physician twice now. She doesn't believe there is anything wrong and took a urine sample and did a basic physical. She did prescribe ammoxicillin the other day but that does not seem to be doing any good.

The Dr. did not do any bloodwork. I also have a urologist appointment schedulued but that pain has subsided and the appointment some time away. What about the back and rib pain? Could that be associated with the flu?

keep the appointment. the back and rib pain is most likly associated with the flu symptoms, you get that "achy, I don't want to get out of bed feeling" drink a lot of fluids, you don't want to add dehydration to the mix.
