my husband has this - started with vomiting then headache and fever then tingling in his feet which spread to his hands, then the left side of his face now looks like bell's palsy with major pain in his feet, hands and face. was in the hospital for 4 days and they did mri, cat scan, ekg and blood work and found nothing and sent him home. any ideas as to what this might be or other tests he should take that no one has thought of?Optional Information: Male , Age: 46Already Tried: steroids, antiviral, pain meds

Reply to CYNTHIA's Post: that is the trouble -- a mini stroke has been ruled out -- his heart is perfect, his mri was perfect, his cat scan was perfect, his ekg was perfect, all his blood work is perfect right in the levels it should be. it has to be something else everyone is missing?

we signed the paper at the hospital to have the records and labs results sent to us, but that will not be until next week. he was taken to the hospital before and while all this was going on. activity level - laying on the couch - job description - drives a limousine for a couple of attorneys.

they do take about a week to result, have you noticed any round type of rash any where on his body. even if he was bit many months ago, is can be latent, then appear with neurological symptoms, since they have already drawn blood, they can add this test to it , just call the doc and ask him .

how is he feeling now?

Reply to CYNTHIA's Post: he is back in the hospital and they are running more tests which are coming back perfect - so I guess we just wait and see.
