For the two years I experience horrible pain in my back and sides (mostly sides) after a hot shower, it usually subsides after 5 to 20 minutes. In the last couple of months I get the same pain if I am having severe anxiety or stress. Someone suggested it might be kidney stones, but other than the pain I dont think I have any of the other symptoms (such as blood) that I see listed on most websites. Please give me your opinion on what the possibilities are and how to proceed. Thank you!

I usually just lie down curled up until it goes away...hurts too bad to do anything else. Going to the Dr. is not an option at this time because I am uninsured and unemployed.
