My wife has a large swelling or growth on the back of her left shoulder which she says does not hurt, but it is obviously quite disturbiing. It is almost perfectly round and about 5 inches in diameter rising evenly above the normal level by 1 to 1.5 inches. It is centered about 5 inches below the colar bone on the inside edge of the shoulder blade, is firm but not hard and not discolored. I think we first noticed it a week to ten days ago.
