what are the human symptoms of tapeworm? what is treatment?

my daughter got a new dog ~4 weeks ago and has been experiencing soft stools since then.

It would be very uncommon for a person to get tapeworms from their dog. His feces would've had to have gotten in her food somehow, or she would have swallowed an infected flea. Even then it would take a long time for any symptoms to show, weakness, anemia, stomach upset, ect or pass proglottids in her stool (they look like grains of rice) or firnd them stuck to the skin around the anus.

The best way to prevent infesting humans and the dogs is persistant flea control.
