what i am about to write you most likely know.

so just dis regard the answer if you already know and it does not help you.

Parikinsons is degenerative. it affects the nervous system. The cause is unknow. symptoms appear when there is a lack of dopamine in the brain. dopamine is a neutotransmitter. it carries messages from one nerve cell to another. I guess now that now that i think about it like the mail man. In healthy persons, it exists in balance with another neurotransmitter, called acetychloine. In people with what is called primary Parkinson's disease, the cells that manufacture dopamine are lost, and the brain can no longer manufature this chemical. so for some reason the brain can no longer manufacture the dopamine. There is also a secondary form of the disorder, in which dopamine receptors in the brain are blocked in some way, interfering with the action of the brain chemical.

symptoms can include tremor of the hand or hands while at rest, a general slow and heavy feeling, muscular stiffness, and a tendency to tire more easily than usual. Later symptoms may include muscular rigidity; drooling; loss of appetite; a stooped, shuffling gait; tremors, including a characteristic "pill -rolling" movement in which the thumb and forefinger rub against each other; impaired speech; and a fixed facial expression. The body gradually becomes rigid and the limbs stiffen. Depression and/or dementia may accompany the physical symptoms.

Parkinson's disease is one of the most common debilitating diseases in the US.

Bradykinesia - in parkinsons is difficulty in initiating movements, slowness in executing movements and an inability to make adjustments to or naintain the posture of the body.

I heard a man that got regular massages. and the lady that did them said they seem to be helping him.

There is also a book called "Prescription for Nutrional Healing written by James Balch m.d. andd Phyllis A Balch C.N.C.

you do not need to pay me. I answere this because my mom had that horrible disease for years. I could not do anything to help her. Maybe this will help someone.
