Reply to Judy's Post: Because years ago I was allergic to penicillin..I am now allergic to cipro..macobids..and omnifec...and I am trying to remember but I believe...I was put on this drug a few years back for a UTI..And was told to take with bendryl..just in case but they were 875 mg......Thanks for your help

Then yes, you may be wise to take the benedryl along with it. If you develop any rash at all, stop taking the drug and call the doctor who prescribed it. Other symptoms of intolerance may include diarrhea, nausea, vomiting. Good luck, feel better Images available only to Customers.
