MY GRANDSON IS 3 DAYS OLD. HE WAS DIAGNOSED WITH DS.

MY GRANDSON IS 3 DAYS OLD. HE WAS DIAGNOSED WITH DS. MY DAUGHTER HAD ALL TESTS & THEY WERE OK. SHE IS 29. THERE ARE NO INHERETED FACTORS IN THE FAMILY. WE ARE AWAITING THE TETS RESULTS. UPON READING I LOOKED AT THE SYMPTOMS THEY TOLD ME ABOUT IN THE HOSPITAL; AND IT SEEMS TO ME HE DOES NOT HAVE THEM. NO FLAT NOSE OR HEAD, NOT EVEN IN HIS SONOGRAMS. QUESTION BEING, COULD THEY BE WRONG AND THE TESTS COME BACK TODAY IN OUR FAVOR?

By DS do you mean Downs Syndrome?

Has he had any genetic testing ie chromosome investigations? Is this the test you are waiting for?

Have they found any problems with his heart, or any other problems?
