These are potentially very worrisome symptoms, as these can be seen with stroke or a bleed in the brain. You should be seen by a physician, or at the Emergency Department, immediately to be evaluated. Another possibility, one that is far less of an emergency, is something called cluster headache. A different form of headache than the "tension" or migraine types, cluster headache can also involve these symptoms. But cluster headache also involves "clusters" of headaches, with severe pain. And unfortunately these symptoms still overlap with stroke.

So make a trip to the Emergency Department. Yes, it could only be cluster headache (which you would probably want to treat, anyways) but it could also be stroke. Better safe than sorry.

I hope this helps. Please let me know if you have any further questions - I'm more than happy to help. Take care.

Cluster headaches are an interesting clinical entity. They involve recurrent episodes of severe unilateral (one-sided) headache and facial pain, often more in the temple and around the eye. They can last 15-180 minutes, and generally start late in the day. They are also often associated with tearing or a read eye, puffy eyelid, a stuffy/runny nose, facial sweating, droopy eyelid, and a potential change in the size of the pupil - all on the same side as the headache. These occur in clusters, and can occur everyday, or a few times a day with a break.

Triggers include: alcohol, weather changes, and tobacco.

There are many prescription medications to help this. Oxygen can also be provided as this can help. Avoiding triggers is obviously important, as well.

Hope this helps. Take care.
