If you are bit by a bee (or spider) and you lip is still swollen a few days later, what should you do?

If you're sure it was a bee sting, and you're not having any other symptoms, you can use an ice pack and Benedryl. It is unusually but not unheard of for you to still have swelling after so many days. See if there is a black dot in the center of the red area. If so, this is the stinger and it could still be releasing venom. Try to dislodge it with by scraping your nail or a credit card across it. Try not to break it or squeeze it. If you experience any other symptoms such as further swelling, chest tightening, shortness of breath, rash, wheezing, get to the ER right away.
