I have been experiencing progressively severe "spells' of extreme fatigue and muscle soreness, vertigo and nausea after eating. Like I have the flu 3 -4 times a month. About two months ago, I stopped taking prescription Motrin 600 2-3 times a day and within a few days experienced so much tendon, muscle pain I felt like I "hurt from the inside". I could not raise my arms above shoulder level. I was prescribed Daypro two times a day that improved my mobility and pain level dramatically, however, I have experienced the sensation of crawling spiders intermittently, top of feet, hands, face, legs and arms..have tingling and burning (again lasting only seconds) all over and slight finger tip numbness now. I have a new doctor who doesn't know me and reacted like I was a nut case. I have a history of dilated cardiomyopathy-resolved, an auto immune reaction.
Thanks. I am a 52 year old female. I have had a CT scan that showed S1 sclerosis and mild facet dis..but thats it.

Optional Information:

Ms Customer (name blocked for privacy),
These are unusual symptoms, but some more investigation may turn up an answer. What were you taking Motrin for and why did you stop?

You might ask your primary about a referral to neurolgy for a detailed examination and possibly more specialized tests, like EMG, depending on your neurological exam.

Reply to ASun's Post: Motrin has been taken for chronic back, arm and leg ache/pain. I was working out for 7 years until six months ago. My arms and legs feel weak and achey. ?? Thanks for the feedback.

If you were doing well on the Motrin and did not have any problems with it (like abdominal symptoms or bleeding), then I suggest restarting it. You should also mention this to your doctor if it seems to help. You may have a rheumatological condition that responds to NSAIDs and further investigation along these lines may be helpful.
