Question

visual loss when occurs when sleeping

Sent to Health Experts June 30, 2006 11:36 a.m.

When I awake from sleep I have vision problems. If the room is dark it appears that I have a blind spot. However, if the room is light the spot is actually a circle that looks like looking through broken glass. When I sit up it disappears in about two mintes. As it does it I either see wavy lines or flashing lights all over the eye. I have had an MRI, MRA Echo cardiogram and ultrasound of my arties, visual fiel study and all are normal. WHere do I go from here?

Optional Information:
Age: 45

Already Tried:
MRA, MRI, echo cardiogram, ultra sound of arties visual field study
