Of course, I actually was going to look for a naturopath next. Anything is better than antibiotics.

This product looks like it is for the vagina. The Strep B is in my intestines. I also tried a product called rePHesh that seems similar to the V-gel. Can we take this a step further?

This is for the rePHesh. My gynecologist told me it was from my intestines. I had blood work done. I think it was a Chem screen. It was not a CBC only. Also, I had several pelvic exams and my doctor surmised it was coming from my intestines. He even put in some bright purple stuff that did not work. The symptoms are a bad foul odor, especially the day after intercourse.

Why did she prescribed this when strep B was in intestine.

The symptoms you tell are related to vagina!

Good question!! So, I wonder...can you have Strep in the Vagina? Would the antibiotics (amoxicillin) be for the vagina? I was always told it was the intestines.

This possibility can be there that the Strep B is in intestine and is dormant without any symptoms.

As diagnosed by your gynae doc strep B is in intestine and the symptoms you are having are due to Bacterial Vaginosis as was previously diagnosed.

So, from our conversation, you think it is present in my vagina and NOT my intestines. You are correct, that if it is intestinal, they were not treating it correctly, even with antibiotics. What are some suggestions?

In the above link it is mentioned That if once it is there in intestine no antibiotic can eradicate it.

I'm not sure what that is, however just two days ago my doctor did take a swab and looked at it under the microscope and said the Strep B was still present. If i was thinking correctly, I would have known she did not take it out of my intestines. She did it while doing a pelvic.

This history confirm that Strep B was in vagina and smear i am talking was what she did.

So after this long discussion one thing is sure it is not in intestine as you had misconception.

Also, when I accept your answer, is our conversation over? I do appreciate your knowledge and time.
