My Husband has been having chest pains, shortness of ...

Sent to Health Experts July 26, 2006 2:03 p.m.

My Husband has been having chest pains, shortness of breath, numbness in his face and head, palpatations, and he feels like he is running a fever on and off (but he is not). He is on high blood pressure medicine for two years and has high colosoral but his doctor did not recommend a medicine for it. He was admited to the ER a week ago with the Chest pains, palpatations and numbness to his face. He had a nucular stresstest, a eco cardiogram, a chest x-ray and blood work and all came back good. He is still having chest pains (not sever) and he has been complaining of running a fever on and off and has no energy. Could you give me recommendations as what to do now. (we got a 2nd option from a cardiologist who is running more blood work and also had him take an asprin a day. He is a smoker and he is now on a low colestoral, low sodium diet and he is cutting back on his smoking. Please help! I do not know if I should have him see a nerologist or if he should have more test done by his cardiologist

How long has he had the chest pains?

What do the chest pains feel like?

Any other symptoms such as sweating, cough, etc.

He has been having the chest pain and shortness of breath for several weeks. He said his Chest feels like something is squeezing it so it is constricted. When he takes a deep breath in it hurts more. He is not coughing bt he has been sweating more and claimy.
