I am a nurse. I have been caring for my husband in the hospital for 3 weeks now.
It has been very hot & humid outside. I have been on my feet almost constantly and have averaged about 2 1/2-3 hrs. sleep a night. He is finally home & yes, we do have help.. The last week I have had a steadily increasing, painless edema in my ankles & lower calves. No family history to report,no shortness of breath or difficulty breathing, no coughing, no pain, redness, or tenderness, skin is NOT warm.

After finally getting a good 12 hour sleep much of the swelling was down, only to increase as I was on my feet. Any suggestions?
