Hello

The prednisone will cause fluid retention. It makes sense that this would show up in the heels/feet first because of gravity. My suggestion is to keep the legs elevated as much as possible and give the doctor a call in the morning. They may want to prescribe a mild diuretic to help with this side effect.

Don't stop the prednisone. This is a med that needs to be tapered off. Continue to follow doctors directions with this as the benefits outweigh the risks.
