calf pain

I have had a discomfort in my calf for about 11 days. I saw a doctor on monday he attributed it to my weekend of hedge trimming, but scheduled me for a doppler on Friday as a precaution. Earlier tonight I felt uneasy and a tensness across my face. I feel Ok now other than the calf discomfort. Should I wait for my appointment on Friday?
