Could I be pregnant?

I am on birth control pills and my period comes on like clock work. This month my period was four days late and on the fifth day I began spotting. Four days after that, I took a preganancy test and it was negative. My breast hurt and I am really sleepy. Could I be pregnant? If I am not pregnant what is wrong with me?

You can get a blood pregnancy test to confirm the home pregnancy test. If it is negative then you are not pregnant. Various conditions can imitate the symptoms of pregnancy such as stress, change in diet, illness etc.
