I have a roaming swelling with excrutiating pain of fingers, hands upper and lower arm, thigh muscle, ankles. this condition seems to come on when I get a sore throat and it travels around and last for a day of two of the above body parts mentions. But I have had this last one now in my right hand and arm which has lasted for several days. I can't hardly move my right arm it is so painful. I've been to several doctors and they all say that the sore throat and the swelling and pain can not be connected, but every time I get the sore throat this condition comes on. I would appreciate it if you can give me some advise.   Thank you

Does RA travel around like stay in one place a couple of days than leave won't have any symptons for a while and then it comes back someplace else. Also It is not in the joints it is more in the muscle areas.
