Hello,

The symptoms that you describe are not due to neuropathy. They are probably due to a compressed disc in your spine that is causing the nerve to be irritated and radiating down your buttocks into your legs. This is frequently referred to as "sciatic" pain.

A chiropractor may be of help in relieving this pressure on your disc. Ibuprofen or other anti-inflammatory may help as well.
