I am having slight vaginal itching,& alot of dark yellow discharge that has a slight "fishy" odor. I had this a few months ago and saw my obgyn who gave me the medicine "flagyl" to clear it up. I needed to know what the name of this is that I have again and if it is sexually transmitted.

Bacterial vaginosis, trichomoniasis,yeast infections(fungal) are common vaginal infections.The symptoms you are describing are suggestive of any of these vaginal infection.
