after "study" internet , I'd realize i have pinched nerve..."peroneal nerve running along the side of your leg"...my family doctor gave me a cortizon shot in my lover back, however the pain in my tight is still there and is very painful....he gave me new prescription "LYRICA", which I didn't take yet...I'm afraid of the side efects if any.....advil is only one drug that I take if necessary and not so often...should I take "LYRICA" ? My doctor started w/75 mg cap once a day

This is a personl decision. If your symptoms are severe, I would recommend trying the Lyrica.

Your other option is to continue taking Advil. You may take four 200mg tablets every six hours. This is considered a prescription dose.

Consider making an appointment with a chiropractor who is often quite beneficial in treating a pinched nerve without medication. Deep tissue masage, combined with gentle stretching & rotation excercises, ice & heat treatment and other modalities are utilized.
