kokobird,

A swollen testicle with no other symptoms can have many causes. This can include accumulation of fluid such as a hydrocele or spermatocele, a varicocele (enlargement of the veins around the testicle), or a tumor. A tumor would feel firm and cause no pain. If there is an accumulation of fluid or blood vessel enlargement, the area would be soft. Please have him see his doctor for an exam and testing to determine what the exact cause may be.
