disected artery

i have a disected coartid artery and I am on warifin to thin my blood it's been about five months now. I've been out of work on short term disability because I am a coonstruction worker and do alot of heavy lifting.

I had an emergency ct last month because of cronic head pain and the test came back as "nothing has changed not any better or worse." I'm wondering how long does it take for a disected artery to heal?

Reply to Shelia's Post: That is what I was told by my doctor, but my ct scan last month read that it has not grown any better or worse. Shouldn't it shown signs of healing after five months?

Reply to Shelia's Post: head pain from time to time. Sometimes extreme pain in the back of my head.

Doctors not sure how this happened. I went to doctors because of head pain. And Sent me to a ct scan and they found the disection. Sent me to a neurologists and they started me on a program for six months on warifin and no work. But my ct scan last month showed no change in disection.
