It may be the jolt of the current that may be causing muscle contractions to occur. However since I am unable to see you in person and you have having the symptoms you are, especially in the chest, I highly suggest being seen tonight, just to make sure there was no damage done to the heart at this point. Generally they will monitor you for 24 hours. But once you are seen in the ER, they can do a EKG and any other test that may be helpful.

Generally when one is shocked, they look for burn marks, loss of consciousness which does require immediate care. Some people can handle a shock, while others can't. So if you have never had this tingling before, just to be safe, you should be seen.

Hope this helps, If you need anything else please feel free to ask. If you found this helpful don't forget to click the *ACCEPT* button and leave *POSITIVE* feedback.

To be honest, I think you will be fine, especially going by your age etc. But keep in mind, I'm not there to evaluate you in person, so with that said, you also need to use your best judgment too. I think you said it has been around 2 hours. If you feel your pulse is steady and also if you have a way to take your BP and that is fine too, you should be OK. However if there is no change by tomorrow, then at least follow up with your doctor.

So with you not having any loss of consciousness or burns, then you should be fine.

Hope this helps Hun.
