I believe I may have experinenced a Herpes Type 2 out break. It has healed now but my question is that my arm pits glands (or Lymps) are still very swollen and tender. Would that be a normal site for swelling? It's painful but is a urgent I see a doctor over swollen glands or will this take care of itself over time?

My outbreak was about 7 weeks ago and finally cleared up about 1 week ago. My glands in my neck were swollen and in my axilla and started to go away but as of yesterday I have 2 new swollen glands.

Nothing, over 15 yrs ago a doctor told me that I had it, I really had no symptoms. Just recently I had what I believe to be an outbreak from everything that I have read and pictures that I have seen. I have not taken anything for this.

Herpes symptoms can take between two and ten days to appear. It is possible that you had outbreak of herpes.

Though there is no herpes cure. However, you can receive herpes treatment to help relieve your discomfort during an outbreak as well as reduce the frequency of outbreaks

I know all this, I have read every internet site on Herpes I can. What I want to know is because my glands are still swollen in my armpit (which I think is an odd place)is that dangerous and should I see a doctor right away or not to worry and it will go away. I have no outbreak right now but my glands are telling me there is still something wrong.
