the hpv virus can be incubated for five years even if you did the pep-smear twice in those 5 years and everything was clear?

Unfortunately this virus can lie dormant for many, many years and never cause any symptoms. It can also go undetected by pap smear until it decides to grow abnormal cells on the cervix.

You should have a pap smear every year or so just to catch this virus, should it start to spread. Your OB/GYN should give you a schedule of when you should have pap smears performed.

Absolutely. There is no way to kill this virus so it just remains in your system, dormant. The longer you go without having an "outbreak", the chance is better that you will never have one.
