I have been experiencing bouts of severe dizziness that last between thirty seconds and several minutes along with loss of hearing/ringing in my left ear during the episode, as well as loss of balance. I have been to ENT who did ENG test-neg.,Cardiologist-neg., had a cat scan-neg, and blood work which was fine. I saw a Neurologist once in the past for same symptoms and had a MRI that was fine and recently saw a different Neruologist who said he is stumped but ordered another MRI with contrast. These spells used to be very infrequent but have occurred much more frequently in the past couple of weeks. Sometimes four to five in several hours. The last episode left me with some residual dizziness/motion sickness which was relieved with dramamine. I feel like I am getting the run around and don't know what else to do. A past Dr. had told me they could be migraines even though there was no headache, or slight headache.

Hi,

Your symptoms appear consistent with space occupying lesion in brain or Acoustin neuroma or some sort of epilepsy. All you can do is wait for sometime then repeat MRI or CT examination.
