I have a six-year old daughter. Last night while bathing her, I noticed that her left nipple appeared to be protruding. I pressed it lightly and noticed a small lump. She acted like it was also very tender. Is this anything to be concerned with?

She is only six. In addition, the swollen bud is only beneath one side. Are you certain that this is an early sign of puberty?
