my mom is 87 and up until two months ago lived alone in the bronx and volunteerd at a senior center. she had mini strokes which has affected her memory she doesn;t remember to eat, take her medicine and so on. There is nothing else wrong with her. Because she lost 12 pounds and the strokes, i have taken her to live with me in the suburbs. She has her own room with all her belongings. she is miserable she is refusing to eat now and therefore does not want to take her medicine. She says very hurtful things and just sits in a chair and says she wants to die at her apartment. please tell me what i can do. I have four children and a husband and i attend school at night. we all have arranges our schedules around her -- I am beside myself. help any advice will be welcomed. jc
