my son was having flue like symptoms and then 3 days

my son was having flue like symptoms and then 3 days later he would not put pressure or walk on his left leg at all. he was admitted to the hospital and was in there for 9 days. he came home and has a pic line and is receiving antibiotics 2 times a day and still is not walking. i am getting worried that it is something seriouse.

Already Tried:
he is on vancomycin twice a day through his pic line. this is day 11 on this and still won't walk on his leg.

he was in the hospital for 9 days and has been home for 2. they are saying some kind of infection and they took some flood from his hip and cultured it but nothing grew. he still wont put any weight on his leg or walk he says it hurts to even take a step. i just thought there should be improvement by now. he is going bck to his pediatrition tomorrow.
