Nose and throat problems...

Hello, I have a problem where I keep having some kind of chunks of something that come down from my nose into my throat. They look like pieces of food but they smell horrible. Also they make my mouth have a nasty taste all of the time. I would like to know what this is and if it may be associated with the recent dizzy spells I have been experiencing.
