My husband just informed me that his throat has hurt for over a month and at times he notices his voice changing, (which I haven''t noticed.) He says it hurts by his gland on that side in his neck. He is a heavy smoker, 55 and has smoked for close to 40 years. Of couse I have made him an appt. at the Dr. for Monday. But I am worried. He profusely sweats at times and has pain which radiates in his chest at times. He has held the same job for 37 years, and has to pass DOT physicals every year, which he recently passed. he is medicated for high blood pressure and high cholesteral. Does this sound like it could be cancer?
