For the past Month I''ve had throat trouble and all the time going through different stages. Now today I woke up with a type of mucus which is more like thick saliva and now when I swollow I get a very uncomftable feeling within my throat muscals and from what I can tell within my Tube like perhaps something is stuck and I can''t cough or move it.

Optional Information:
Male, Age: 24, Australia

Already Tried:
Been to the doctor and he has given me Acid supressents for my heartburn which have been working now, but I'm confused as if these symptoms are due to any damage from the acid or it is a completely different problem. As prior to the acid I was on antibiotics for swollan glads. I've also tried Cough medicine to break up what ever is within my throat. Also my throat muscals are a little tight most of the time. Finding it hard to eat and drink tonight, most nights have been fine to eat and drink though.

I had swollan glands of which first I was on Anti-biotics, then that cleared up and I had heart burn which then I believe started a rather sore throat, this then would sometimes tighten (or feel like) and make it hard to swallow without a chocking feeling. Though some days I do not get any symptoms... Of cause yelling did not help,,,

I don't have excessive nasal Mucus at all. Though sometimes I will pull a long mucus from my nose, not runny. And yes a cough seems to have started to develop.

Its not a dry cough, infact right now when I coughed the Mucus (or what I believe is mucus) shifted upwards, though not far enough to get to my mouth. And Yes about 2 hours ago I was short of breath.

Hi

Your present symptoms simply suggest that you have some tenacious mucus that is proving difficult to clear - inhaling steam should help.

Can you tell me about the shortness of breath that you had?

Yes, I felt a little dizzy, and it was not like asthma but felt more throat related at the time. Not weezing.
