This is the second time in the last week...I have had ...

This is the second time in the last week...I have had anafaltic shock from taking compazine...i am experience almost the same symptoms...except i am getting zipping pains all over my body..itching...my chest is super tight and my throat feels swelled up..I have taking benadryl but its not working..what can this be..i havent taken any meds...this keeps happening..over the last few weeks

If your throat feels like it is swelling up, you need to get to the ER immediately. Please do not wait- call 911 or have someone bring you to the hospital immediately as this is a medical emergency. If you keep having a reaction to this medication, you need to let your doctor know, who will change you to a different one so this doesn't keep bringing on a medical emergency.

Reply to Nurse Annie's Post: It just feels that way...kind of like when I had the reaction..to compazine....my tongue is swelled up so much that i cant breath..it just feels..like my airway is tight....I havent taken any meds for it to be a reaction to medication...
