cronic cough

my daughter is nine years old,
she has had a cough for2 years,
we have been to a our pedeatricen and she sent us to an alergist with negative resuts.
also we have tried per docters sugestion,
nasonex once in morning and clairnex every day for two weeks,to no availe.
next we are going to see an e.n.t.
I dont know what he can do but to scope for acid reflecks.but that seams to be a wast of time.
any sujestions.
