My grandfather has cancer in his throat. They are talking about giving him a shot of human albumim to help to get his hemoglobin levels to slowly elivate. They want to give him the shot on Friday, January 11 and then give him his chemo treatment right afterwards. His chemo is hooked up to a port and distributed starting Friday morning and then unhooked the following Tuesday morning. Do you think that it would be wiser to give him the shot earlier so that it can start helping to build his hemoglobins up before he has chemo? His hemoglobin level is 8.1 as of today.
