I want to know about Squamous cell carcinoma.

I am a 89 year old woman that has just been diagnosed with a Squamous cell carcinoma on my tounge. The glands in my neck are also involed. I am very thin and weak and I don"t know if I can make it through the kemo(not sure how to spell that) and radiation therapy that the Doctor is wanting me to have. Is there any other treatment for this that would not be so toxic and has worked as well?

How aggressive is Squamous Cell Carcinoma and if my very thin body weight will play a part and how I will with stand the Chemotherapy and radiation.
