I have had a sore throat for about 3 weeks now. It's not even really in inside of my throat that's hurting as much as the outside. My neck glands are causing extreme pain and feel like they're about to burst. It's gotten hard to swallow, turn my head, talk. My head feels like it's on a stake. I don't know if Tylenol or Motrin would work better; neither seems to do a whole lot. Sore throat lozenges don't do anything. Is this strep or something else?
