A friend of mines Mother in Law has been admitted to the hospital for severe shortness of breath. They just keep saying they are "stumped" and don't know what is causing it. She hasn't eaten in over 7 days, and has very little urine out put. She is on a nasal canula and maintaining good oxygen levels. They have now taken her out of ICU and put her in a regular room but yet none of her symptoms have improved. The one interesting thing is she and her husband had just come back from Aruba when all of this started. We need some input. Does this all seem appropriate?
